1800's Barn Reclamation Auction
Just the barn- NO property!
The wood is extremely valuable for reclamation purposes.
The winning bidder must remove the building themselves.
Large 45 x 50 barn in North Alabama. Very dry and in good/excellent condition! According to family history, primary structure of the barn was constructed in early 1800's from old barn/homestead with hand hewn oak timbers found on site when the property was originally purchased on or about 1830. Additional structure would have been added in early to mid 1900's.

Solid, original, hand hewn oak beams range from 6-8 ft to 15 ft, and several 20+ ft in length. Many with original peg joinery. Much of barn walls and flooring/decking is made of 1” white oak planks. There are also a number of loose 1” white oak planks along with 2x6” white oak planks of various lengths.

Barn was wrapped in corrugated metal at some point in the mid to late 1900’s to further preserve and protect the original walls & roof.

Selling all as one unit. Must be dismantled and removed from property.
